NAPPANEE — Merrill Dale “Gutch” Pippen, 84, of Nappanee, died from natural causes at his residence Wednesday, July 25, at 9:45 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean; son, Rex Pippen of Middlebury; daughter, Sherry (Dennis) Martin, of Nappanee; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bud “Eldon” (Kathy) Pippen, of California.
Visitation is Friday, July 27, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nappanee Missionary Chapel, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service Saturday, July 28, also at Nappanee Missionary Chapel. Burial will follow at Union Center Cemetery with Military Graveside services. Memorial contributions may be made to Nappanee Missionary Church or to the American Legion. Online condolences may be shared at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is handling the arrangements.

ARGOS — Todd D. Keen Jr., 6, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Survivors include: mother, Adriena Keen of Argos; father, Todd Keen of Knox; brother, Coty Keen of Argos; grandparents, Jane and Bob Dille of Argos and Monica and Eric Keen of Plymouth and great-grandparents, George Elder Sr. of Knox, Dora Pena of Plymouth and William Dille of Argos.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. CDT Friday in Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel where visitation is Friday from 12 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Riley Hospital for Children.

MISHAWAKA — Elnora Mae (Barts) Zeiger, 89, of Mishawaka died July 15, 2012.
Surviving are three daughters, Mardene (Stephen) Cook of Osceola, Bonnita Laub, and Brenda (Daniel) Martindale of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, July 28, at Sonlight Fellowship Wesleyan Church, 3702 S. Michigan St., South Bend. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by the funeral at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family with arrangements.
