James Walter Keen
July 21, 2011
KNOX — James Walter Keen, 59, of Knox died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Starke Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Keen of Knox; son, Steve (Debra) Keen of LaPaz; two grandchildren; brothers, Mark (Pat) Keen of Plymouth, Scott (Melody) Keen of Columbus; and sisters, Elizabeth Sallee of Knox and Jeanne Keen of Knox.
Visitation was Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox.
Funeral service was Monday, July 25 at 11 a.m. at Knox United Methodist Church.
Burial is at Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox.

Ralph L. Umbaugh

NAPPANEE — Ralph L. Umbaugh, 78, of 25747 CR 52, Nappanee, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in an automobile accident on CR 52, east of Nappanee.
He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (David) Riggle of Phoenix, Ariz.; sons, Bruce A. Umbaugh of Phoenix, Ariz., and Paul A. Umbaugh of Nappanee; three grandchildren; and sisters, Helen (Loren) Stackhouse of Huffman Lake, and Linda (Everett) Maurer of Nappanee.
Visitation is Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery with Military Graveside Services by the Nappanee American Legion.
Memorial contributions may be given to the NorthWood High School Athletic Department.

Dusty D. Kasten

KNOX — Dusty D. Kasten, 40, died July 22, 2011 in IU Health Starke Hospital due to an ATV accident. 
Surviving are his wife, Tawnya; three daughters, Tiffany Kasten, Brittany Kasten and Dusty Rose Kasten, all of Knox; one son, Tyler Kasten of Knox; six sisters, Linda Ritchie of Big Sandy, Tenn., Kathy Upchurch, Tina Singleton, Sandy Singleton and Tommie Byer, all of Knox and Rosanna Kasten of Frankfort; and four brothers, Robert Kurtz Jr. of Tennessee, Virgil Kurtz and John Kasten, both of Knox and Theodore Kasten of Frankfort.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. CDT at the Washington Township Community Center. Cremation will follow. Visitation is Tuesday at the Washington Township Community Center from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. until the time of services. A firefighter service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m by the Washington Township Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family. ROCHESTER — Edward Scott Wenrick, 78, of 420 Jefferson St. Rochester, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at Life Care Center of Rochester.
He is survived by his wife, Marcie Suddith Wenrick, at home; son, Michael Edward Wenrick of Rochester; two sisters, Jean (Neil) Johnston of Rochester, Mabel (Bill) Cave of South Bend; brother, Jim Wenrick of South Bend; brother-in-law, Dr. Bob Suddith; and sister-in-law, Roberta Suddith of Fort Wayne.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27 at St. John Lutheran Church, 404 Jefferson St., Rochester. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester and one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery with military rites conducted by the LeRoy Shelton American Legion #36 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars #1343.
