LAPORTE — Mary Lou Mullins, 63, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 in her home. She is survived by her husband, Leon Mullins; three sons, Donald McCarty of Michigan City, Jeffery (Tia) McCarty and Leon (Shari) Mullins of LaPorte; two daughters, Belinda Mullins of LaPorte and Amy (Mike) Harness of North Dakota; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Velma Duensing of LaPorte, Ruthie Kroa of Knox, Jane Standifer of Grovertown and Judy Thompson of Hamlet; five brothers, Roger Goble, Gene Goble and Dennis Goble, all of Hamlet, Don Goble of LaPorte and Dale Goble of Grovertown.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12 p.m. CDT in Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Burial will be at the Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet. Visitation is Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Rannells Funeral Home. NAPPANEE — Melvin L. “Mel” Myers, 71, of Nappanee, died at 10:35 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012 at his residence after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Mike (Jody) Myers, Wolcottville, Randy (Nora) Menzie and Rick (Karon) Menzie, both of Nappanee, Rob (Chris) Menzie, Warsaw; daughters, Kathy (Roger) Brown, Nappanee, Laurie (Steve) Hoffer, Wakarusa, Karla (Bob) Stouder, Nappanee, Rita (Larry) Seitz, Bremen; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles William “Bill” Myers, Syracuse, and Ralph Earnest “Shorty” (Muffit) Myers, Campbells Creek, W.V.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation will take place after services. Memorial contributions may be given to The Center for Hospice Care or Michiana Hematology Oncology.
