Richard  E. Taylor Sr.

PLYMOUTH — Richard E. Taylor Sr., 90, a lifetime Marshall County resident, died July 14, 2012, in the Life Care Center of Rochester.
He is survived by a daughter, Beverly J. and Joda J. Hoeffler, Plymouth; and two sons, Thomas E. and Janet R. Taylor, Plymouth and Richard E. and Julie Taylor Jr., Nappanee; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a sister, Roma Jones and a brother, Walter “Mike” Taylor, both of Plymouth.
Visitation is Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. 
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, with military honors provided by members of the Plymouth American Legion Post 27, Veterans of Foreign Wars-Marshall Co. Post 1162, the DAV and the Army Honor guard.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Marshall County Humane Society, 11165 13th Road Plymouth, IN 46563.

NAPPANEE — Elmer J. Byler, 89, of Nappanee, died at 12:55 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2012 at his residence after suffering a stroke.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Byler; daughters, Marietta (Ray) Couch, Yacolt, Wash., Ruth (Crist) Helmuth, Penrose, Colo., Barbara (Paul) Troyer, Bourbon, and Nora (Duane) Miller, Nappanee; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Elizabeth Byler, Shipshewana.
Visitation was after 2 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday at the Duane Miller residence (9625 W. Hepton Road). Funeral services were at 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 16 at Duane Miller’s. Burial is in Weldy Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.

ROCHESTER — Ruby Jackson, 92, of Rochester died at 4:13 a.m. Saturday, July 14 at Hickory Creek of Rochester. 
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Callahan of Rochester; a son, Ken (Pat Foley) Jackson of Scottsdale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 18 at 10 a.m. at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and an hour prior to her service. Burial will be at Rochester’s IOOF Cemetery. Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church or Hope Hospice of Fulton County. Condolences may be left at
