HAMLET — Kathryn Hensler, 99, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Catherine Kasper Home, Donaldson. 
Survivors include: her children, Susan Hensler of Roscommon, Mich., John Hensler of Hamlet, Carol Emig of Evansville and Martha Trenkner of Ft. Wayne; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date. A graveside service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Beaver Creek Township Cemetery, Crawford County, Mich.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Catherine Kasper Home or the American Cancer Society. Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel is handling arrangements.

Joan Smiley

ROCHESTER — Joan Smiley, 86, of Rochester died at 9:08 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
She is survived by a son, Brad Smiley of Rochester; daughters, Judy (Mike) Sherman of South Lyon, Mich., Mary (Dr. Steve) Jennings of Rensselaer, Lora (John) Pfeiffer of Bremen; eight grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Wheeler of Logansport; and brother, Rex McCloskey of Galveston.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 11 at 1 p.m. in the Argos Bible Church, 225 S. Michigan St., Argos. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 10 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester and one hour prior to the service in the church Friday. Burial will be in the Deer Creek Cemetery.

AKRON — Kathy Louise Mort Flory, 54, of Akron died at 11:50 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 in her home.
She is survived by her husband, John; a sister, Penny (Mitchell) Schutz of North Manchester; a brother, Greg (Sandy) Mort of Raleigh, N.C.; her mother, Barbara Mort of Chesterton; and her father, Harry (Phyllis) Mort of Fort Wayne.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service.  
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Fulton County Humane Society and Hope Hospice of Fulton County.
