CULVER — Betty J. Banks, 78, of Culver, died at 2:50 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 in Culver.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy (Beverly) Banks; daughter, Brenda (Tommy) Gravely; sister, Polly (Robert) Dukes; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 15 at Odom Funeral Home, Culver.
Funeral services will take place at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Leiters Ford IOOF Cemetery.

ROCHESTER — Earl W. Beem, 52, died at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
He is survived by a son, Earl (Anissa) Beem of Knox; sister, Glenda Bauer of Rochester; brothers, Homer (Anna) Beem and Jay (Theresa) Beem, both of Knox; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. (Central Time) Saturday, April 16, at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel.
Funeral services will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

PLYMOUTH — Duane Frank Brown, 69, of Plymouth, died at 10 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011, at his home, following a brief illness.
He is survived by his companion, Pamela J. Schaefer-Mabry of Plymouth; Pam’s mother, Martha A. Schaefer of Plymouth; his former wife, Carol Brown and their children: Susan M. (Jeff) Robinson of Dowagiac, Mich., Janine (Troy) Deshone of Elkhart, Duane Lewis Brown of Osceola, Debbie F. (Shane) Duncan of Elkhart, Eric E. (Tina) Brown of South Bend, Amanda R. (Daniel) Kalmar of Elkhart, and Sara A. (Mark) Million of Mishawaka; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 17, at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth.
A blessing, given by the Rev. Steven Resner, will begin at 3:30 p.m., at the funeral home.

She is survived by daughters, Janice (Edward) Ramsay of Ringwood, N.J., Judith (William Scott) Forney of Denton, Texas, and Elizabeth (Peter) Jordan of New Hope, Pa.; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; four nieces and two nephews.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 5 pm. Sunday, April 17 at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.
Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, April 18 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Rochester IOOF Cemetery, Rochester.
