KNOX — Daniel B. Berg, 53, died Friday, March 23, 2012 in IU Health LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte.
Surviving are his wife, Pam; one son, Daniel Berg II of Knox; one stepson, Tom (Jessica) Alexander II of Knox; one grandson; three brothers, Wayne Berg of Walkerton, Ed (Teresa) Berg of Wayne, Ohio and Ted (Lee) Berg of Kyle, Texas; and four sisters, Helen (Frank) Stone of Orland Park, Ill., Bette (Charles) King of Knox, Mary (David) Aquino of Hamlet and Janice Elerson of Elyria, Ohio.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. CDT at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hamlet.Burial will be at the Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet. Visitation is Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel and Wednesday at the church after 10 a.m. until the time of services. To leave online condolences go to

ROCHESTER — Travis L. Karn Dail, 20, of Rochester died March 23, 2012.
He is survived by his father, Phillip Dail of Columbus, Ohio, and stepfather, Randy Shepherd of Rochester.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Odom Funeral Home, Culver, where service will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Culver Masonic Cemetery. Letters of condolence may be sent via the obituary page at

Dennis Lee Emmons

PLYMOUTH — Dennis Lee Emmons, 53, Plymouth, died Saturday morning following an illness at the Catherine Kasper Life Center, on the grounds of Ancilla Domini.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. A service is being planned on the campus of Ancilla College at a future date.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to Ancilla as a scholarship fund.
