NAPPANEE — Cheryl A. Gonzalez, 57, of 500 Short St., Nappanee, died at 8:05 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2012 at her residence after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel V. Gonzalez; sons, Don C. Gonzalez of Lakeville, Mark A. Gonzalez of Richmond, Va., James P. Gonzalez of Nappanee; three grandchildren; and sisters, Susan (Glen) Hochstetler of Nappanee, Cindy (Joe) Lynn of Bremen, and Mary Robbins of Wakarusa.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and for one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service, Tuesday, March 13, at United Pentecostal Church of Acts 4 & 12 in Bremen. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the church.

MONTEREY — Kenneth Stidham, 78, of Monterey died March 11, 2012.
He is survived by his daughters, Karen Ketcham of Culver, Pamela (Todd) Hovarter of Knox; brother, David Stidham of Hyden, Ky.; sister, Gladys Bowling of Hyden, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, March 16, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Odom Funeral Home, Culver.
Services will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Monterey United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Monterey.
Memorials may be given to the Monterey United Methodist Church.

NAPPANEE — Charles J. “Chuck” Mather, 77, of 902 E. John St., Nappanee, died unexpectedly of natural causes, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2:54 p.m. at Elkhart General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; sons, Michael (Jacy) Mather-Henderson of southern Texas, David LaClair and Robert (Brenda) Mather, both of Rockford, Mich.; daughters, Cindy (Chris) Curtis of Rockford, Mich., Becky (Chuck) Emery of Pendleton, Ore.; a stepson, Chad Brich of Nappanee; a stepdaughter, Kerry (Jeff) Prugh of Elkhart; and 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m., Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and for one hour prior to the funeral service which will be at 11 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Nappanee United Methodist Church with Military Rites following.
Memorial contributions may be given to Nappanee United Methodist Church or Guidance Ministries in Elkhart.

BREMEN — Miriam “Toddy” Gottenborg Ritter, 84, of Bremen died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 3:50 p.m. at the Community Hospital of Bremen.

BREMEN — John Ellis Fisher, 71, of Bremen, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at home.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Fisher of Bremen; one daughter, Lorry (Joe) Sandoval of California; two sons, Kyle (Candy) Perkins and Kevin Perkins both of Bremen; two sisters, Judy Roeder of Mishawaka and Wanda (Cleon) Felton of Bremen; a father-in-law, Paul Ulrey of Winona Lake, and nine grandchildren.
A funeral service with military honors will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service Saturday, March 17 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice Care.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

Harold Dean Clevenger Sr.

BREMEN — Harold Dean Clevenger Sr., 89, formerly of LaPaz and Bremen, died at 1 a.m. Sunday, March 11, at the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Tomalavicz, at the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette; sons Harold (Karen) of Walkerton, Larry (Linda) of Inwood, and James (Linda) of Bremen; daughter Virginia (Gary) Sullivan of Paulden, Ariz.; stepson Johann Backer of Mishawaka; and a sister Anna Mae Miller of Rochester; and 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be sent to the National Ranger Memorial Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 53369, Fort Benning, GA 31995.
Graveside services will be held at the Indiana Veterans Home cemetery at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Hartzler Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston is handling the arrangements.

BREMEN — Miriam “Toddy” Gottenborg Ritter, 84, of Bremen died at 3:50 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Community Hospital of Bremen.
She is survived by two sons Rock (Colette) Ritter and Philip (Sandra) Ritter, both of Indianapolis, and two grandsons.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes, Minn.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bremen Public Library; or The Foundation Fighting Blindness.
