DAYTON, Ohio — James Luzern Custer, 88, of Washington Township, Dayton, Ohio, died Thursday Feb. 3, 2011.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters Deborah Lakins and Cathrine (Don) Morter; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation took place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7 at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 7011 Far Hills Ave.
Entombment followed at Woodland Mausoleum.
Memorial donations may be made Alzheimer’s Foundation of Hospice of Dayton.

BREMEN — Lee C. Lakins, 83, of Bremen, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at the Community Hospital of Bremen.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons: Rick Lakins of Columbia City, Jack (Pam) Lakins of Plymouth and Mike (Trena) Lakins of Bremen; daughter, Barbara (Chuck) Goble: stepson, Kenneth (Pat) Young of Mishawaka: stepdaughters: Elaine Young and Janet (Terry) Miller of Bremen, and Cheryl (Don) Brier of Lafayette; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 18 stepgrandchildren; 15 stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; brother, John Lakins of Rutledge, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen.
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 at the church.
Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery with full military rites.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bremen or to the Bremen VFW.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

CULVER — Genevieve Wilkins, 91, of Culver, died at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 at her residence.
She is survived by a son, James A. (Christy) Wilkins of Culver.
There will be no visitation or services.
Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
