Timothy J. Lawrence

PLYMOUTH — Timothy J. Lawrence, 61, of Plymouth, died unexpectedly from natural causes at 8:59 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at his residence.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Lawrence of Plymouth; two sons, Timothy Lawrence and Arthur Lawrence of Plymouth; a daughter, Sonya Lawrence of Indianapolis; two grandchildren; two sisters, Jeannie Lawrence of Leesburg, Fla. and Evelyn (Charles) Snyder of Plymouth; a half-sister, Mary Ruth Muffley of Plymouth and a brother, John (Jan) Lawrence of Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 in the New Oakhill Cemetery Chapel, Plymouth. There will be no visitation.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

KNOX — Walter Allen, 99, of Knox died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Mary “Maggie” Stephens Fletcher; children, Larry Fletcher of Knox, Carol Dianne Harrison of LaPorte, Jerry (Joyce) Fletcher of Knox, Daniel (Diane) Fletcher of Knox; sister, Bonnie Lantz of Fort Wayne; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. CST at M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox. Services will be Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Crown Point Cemetery, Knox. Memorials may be made to the Bible Baptist Church building fund.

WINAMAC — Dennis D. Dowling, 86, of Winamac died at 4:18 p.m. Dec. 28, 2012 at the Pulaski Health Care Center.
He is survived by sons, Jim (Edna) Dowling, Hopkinsville, Ky., Gerald (Carol) Dowling, Winamac; daughters, Denise Dowling, North Aurora, Ill., and Deelight (Richard) Murphy, Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters; Jennie (Robert) Gentz, Blissfield, Mich. and Margery Neuroth, Blissfield, Mich.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at the Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A funeral service will be held at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date in the Lyons Cemetery, Lyons, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be given to the Pulaski Health Care Center, Pulaski County Human Services Von Tobel Center, or Kingdom Kids Daycare.

WINAMAC — Olive Lucille Lawson, 81, of Winamac died Dec. 28, 2012 at 4:43 p.m. at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.
She is survived by two daughters, Marsha J. Lawson, Phoenix, Ariz. and Janice M. (John) Dilts, Winamac; one son, Michael W. Lawson, Washington, D.C.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Edward (Marqueti) Gross, Lafayette, Thomas Franklin (Sharon) Gross, Monticello, George William Gross Jr., Perido Beach, Ala.; and one sister, Evelyn Kay (Richard) Yater, Burkesville, Ky.
Visitation will be 12 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at Frain Mortuary, Winamac where services will follow at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will take place at Hughes Cemetery, Monticello. Memorial contributions may be given to Pulaski Healthcare Center Activities Fund, American Cancer Society or Winamac High School Athletic Fund.

WINAMAC — Alberta L. Straw, 68, of Winamac died Dec. 28, 2012 at 8:40 p.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.
She is survived by a brother, Albert (Debbie) Straw, Winamac.
Visitation will be 12 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at Frain Mortuary, Winamac where services will follow at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will take place at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac. Memorial contributions may be given to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
