LACROSSE-Shirley B. Spiess, 80, passed away December 15, 2012 in Porter Regional Hospital, Valparaiso.  Mrs. Spiess was born May 20, 1932 in West Chicago, IL to Edward and Jenny (Hoff) Glasshagel.  She was married to Ernest Spiess, who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Guan and great-grandson, Hayden Jackson.  Survivors include: sons, Curt (Debbie) Posey of Westville and Doug (Kari) Romine of Lacrosse; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Glasshagel and George Glasshagel and sisters, May Merindorff and Rose Afield. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

WARSAW — Charlotte V. Stine, 67, of Warsaw died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 at 4:15 a.m. at her residence following a two and half year battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Danny L. Stine, Warsaw; three sons, Rodney (Theresa) Stine, Warsaw, Christopher Stine, Ft. Wayne, Stacy (Christina) Stine, Prescott, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard "Skip" Cochran, Ft. Wayne, Bill and (Linda) Cochran, Mentone.
Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone where funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Stoney Point Cemetery, Clunette.
Memorial contributions may be given to Kosciusko County Hospice.
