WAKARUSA — Walter H. Martin, 72, Wakarusa, died at 10:49 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at Elkhart General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Erma; sons: Glenn (Rhoda) Martin of Goshen, Larry (Anna Mary) Martin of Sheridan, Mich., Arthur (Mary Ann) Martin of Wakarusa, William (Elva) Martin of Sheridan, Mich., and Raymond (Arlene) Martin of Goshen; daughters: Marlene (David) Zimmerman of Goshen, Margaret (Lester) Shirk of Goshen, Mary Ellen (Jonas) Zimmerman of Wakarusa, and Ruth (J. Elmer) Martin of Goshen; daughter-in-law, Anna (David) Kilmer of Elkhart; 63 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Lucy Martin of Goshen.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1 at the home residence, 27256 C.R. 40, Wakarusa.
Funeral services will take place at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 at Yellow Creek Old Order Mennonite Church.
Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

SOUTH BEND — Harry L. Shoup, formerly of Bremen, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 at Providence House in South Bend.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 and one hour prior to services Wednesday at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3 at Bremen Church of the Brethren.
Memorials may be sent to Missions Fund of Bremen Church of the Brethren or Community Hospital of Bremen Foundation.

Barbra Lynn (Aquino) Walters

KNOX — Barbra Lynn (Aquino) Walters, 73, of Valparaiso, formerly of Francesville and Knox, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, Elton Earnest Walters; daughter, Sonja; sons: Kenny Jr., Carl, and Danny; 10 grandchildren; brothers: Raymond (Rosie) Hollorwy, Joe (Linda) Aquino, Eddie (Mary) Aquino, Paul (Elaine) Aquino, David (Mary) Aquino, and Tommy (Reba) Aquino; and sisters, Joan (Aaron) Patrick and Elizabeth (Harold) Flynn.
Visitation took place from 4 to 8 p.m. (CT) Sunday, Oct. 31 at Braman & Son Funeral Home, Knox.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1 at the funeral home.
