Robin L. Guard

BREMEN — Robin L. Guard, 52, of Bremen died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at his sister’s residence in Plymouth.
Survivors include his six children, William (Bobbi) Guard, Jessie Shipley, Sammie (Tony) Bucci all of Nappanee, Robert Guard, Suzie Guard, Ryan Guard all of Culver; three sisters, Carol (Richard) Cartwright of Plymouth, Cheryl (Gene) Smirl of Alvin, Texas, April Samuels of Bremen; one brother, Roger (Shelly) Guard of Plymouth; a paternal grandmother, Lois Joslin of Bremen; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 at the Mishler Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10 a.m. the following Monday at Sandridge Cemetery in Bourbon.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society or the Salem United Methodist Church of Bremen.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

KOONTZ LAKE — Estella Mae Barnett, 76, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Survivors include six daughters, Martha (Rich) Fosler, Betty (Joe) Adkins, Candy (Larry) Plummer and Estella McEndarfer all of Koontz Lake, Dolly (Denny) Bailey of Delphi, and Margaret (Ed) Kean of Plymouth; four sons, Sam (Dana) Dollahan and Jerry (Marty) Dollahan, all of Koontz Lake, Richard Dollahan of Grovertown and Charles (Yvonne) Dollahan of Warsaw; one stepdaughter, Joyce Barnett of South Bend; seven sisters, Ann Shidler, Dorothy Spoor, Pearl Heims, Evelyn Slavery, Carol Calfee, Leona Stone and Nancy Puckett; 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. CDT in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday after 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox. PLYMOUTH — Barbara R. “Babs” Maze, 76, 302 S. Michigan St., Plymouth died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at her home.
She is survived by her sons, Paul (Joann) Maze of Koontz Lake, Gary (Diana) Maze of Plymouth, and Wayne (Annette) Maze of Coloma, Mich.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her brothers, Monte McFarland of Tennessee, Ralph McFarland of Bremen, and Terry McFarland of Plymouth.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 at 1 p.m. at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth is in charge of arrangements.

Donald Eugene Rans

ROCHESTER — Donald Eugene Rans, 82, of 1326 Madison St., Rochester, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He is survived by a son, Ron (Penny) Shireman of Rochester; and a granddaughter.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Visitation is one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
