PLYMOUTH — Virginia Ruth Baker, 93, of Plymouth died Oct. 19, 2012 at 7 a.m. at her home.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Van Gilder Funeral Home where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Van Gilder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

PLYMOUTH — Sondre J. Kamp, 69, died Oct. 18, 2012 at 8:24 p.m. at her home in Plymouth.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Argos Wesleyan Church where a memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at New Oak Hill Cemetery at 2 p.m.
Van Gilder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Harvey J. Miller Jr.

NAPPANEE — Harvey J. Miller Jr., 92, of Nappanee died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 in Rhinelander Wis.
Survivors include his daughter, Becky (Carl) Corey of Rhinelander, Wis.; his son, Kerry (Joanne) Miller of Jamestown, N.C.; his sister, Jean (Bill) Matthews of New Orleans, La.; sister-in-law, Anne Miller of Anacortes, Wash.; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild.
Visitation is from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Point Presbyterian Church, Nappanee, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery with Military Graveside rites by Nappanee American Legion.
Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
Charles ‘Chuck’ J. Weldy
Oct. 19, 2012
BREMEN — Charles “Chuck” J. Weldy, 83, of Bremen, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at home.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene of Bremen; two sons, Joseph (Jean) Weldy of South Bend and Dean (Christie) Weldy of Bremen; a daughter, Sharon Logan of Bremen; a stepson, Terry Coplen of Bremen; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Blanche Urednick and Eva Hawkins both of Bremen; and three brothers, Arvin Weldy, Clifford Weldy, and Cleo (June) Weldy all of Bremen.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Burial will follow in the Bremen Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Tuesday. Contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mishlerfuneralhomes.com.

Carol A. Strang

SYRACUSE — Carol A. Strang, 78, of Syracuse, formerly of Nappanee, died at her residence at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 after a short illness.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Strang; daughters, Patti (Rick) Huff and Betsy (Chris) Butler, both of Goshen; a son, Scott (Karen) Strang, of Bristol; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the funeral service which will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday at the First Mennonite Church. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Mennonite Church or The Center for Hospice.

Gerald ‘Jerry’ R. Jones
Oct. 18, 2012 
ROCHESTER — Jerry Jones, 89, Rochester, died at 2:25 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at Life Care Center of Rochester.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice; a daughter, Laura (Vance) Keller of Lake Okeechobee, Fla.; two sons, Howard Jones of Rochester, John (Sharon) Jones of Trenton, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sara Jean Harmon.
Service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Visitation is from 12 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 in the funeral home. Gravseide military rites will be conducted by the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
Burial will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
