 KEWANNA — Violet J. Ray, 71, a resident of Kewanna, died at her residence Wednesday evening, Oct. 13 at 10:10 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Ray; daughters, Judy Lynn Reed of Plymouth, Beth Ann (Jeff) Aker of Zephyrhills, Fla., Wendy Jo (Fred) Berkeypile of Plymouth; son, James Robert (Karen) Ray of Argos; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Loretta Keehn of Walkerton, Shirley DeBow, Elizabeth Ward Barbara (George) Dickerson, Joseph (Janet) Gaines and Roger (Denise) Gaines all of Plymouth, and Brenda Carter of Argos.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St.  Plymouth.  Services will follow visitation at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Glen Mitchell will officiate.

ROCHESTER — Clayr Lee “Cork” “Stoney” Stones, 82, of Rochester died at 4:40 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11 at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Stones; a daughter, Allyson Lee (Thomas) Harman of Claypool; mother, Rachel Stones of Port Huron, Mich.; brother, Larry Dean (Christine) Stones of Ruby, Mich.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

MONTEREY — Joseph John Minarik, 86, of Monterey died Oct. 12, 2010 at Golden Living Center, Knox.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly Minarik of Monterey; daughters, Cynthia (Wayne) Taylor of Twelve Mile, and Judith (Jim) Walker of Patoka; son, Lawernce Minarik of Monterey; sisters, Ella Lockwood of Rochester, and Louise Moore of LaPaz; and brothers, George Minarik of South Bend, Edward Minarik of North Liberty, and Frank Minarik of Rochester.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. CDT Thursday, Oct. 14 at O’Donnell Funeral Home, Inc., North Judson. Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. at O’Donnell Funeral Home.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Elizabeth M. Thayer, 89, of Portland, Ore., formerly of Bremen passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 at Autumn Hills Nursing Home, Portland, Ore.

PLYMOUTH — Donald A. Rowe, 67, a resident of Shady Lane Drive in Plymouth, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 in the South Bend Memorial Hospital.
Service arrangements are incomplete at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth.
