CULVER — Charlotte R. Brandt, 69, of Culver died Sept. 28, 2012 at 10 p.m. at Porter Regional Hospital, Valparaiso.
She is survived by her brother, Arnold (Nancy) Brandt of Winamac.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at Frain Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.

NAPPANEE — Ryan Paul Freed, 2 months, of Nappanee, died at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his parents, Donald and Ashley Antonides Freed; a sister, Hailey Lynn Freed; brothers, James Albert George, Caleb Ray Freed; grandmother, Teresa Tomblin, Nappanee; grandfather, Donald Freed Sr., Nappanee; stepgrandparents, Jeffrey and Susan Robinson, Plymouth; great-grandparents, Demp and Lil Ritchie, Rome City; and Gene and Joan Guild, Hawaii.
Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Chelsey Coleman; a sister, Denise (Chris) Coffing of Macy; two brothers, Joe (Stacy) Gamble of Rochester, Andrew Coleman of Florida.

MEDARYVILLE, — Harold L. Ailes, 77, of Medaryville died Sept. 28, 2012 at 2:45 p.m. at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
He is survived by his wife, Betty M. Poisel Ailes; daughters, Cathy (Roger) Frinkel, Medaryville, Lyne (Mark) Conley, LaPorte, Cheryl (Kenny Messer) Ailes, San Pierre; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Hyslop, Highland, Barbara (Joe) Benish, San Pierre; and brothers, Roy (Joyce) Ailes, Lake Village, Paul (Lorraine) Ailes, Jacksonville, Fla.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville. Funeral services were held at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel Medaryville, Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. Burial is in White Post Cemetery, Medaryville.

Harold and Janetta Riggs Hoffman

WINAMAC — A memorial service for Harold and Janetta Riggs Hoffman will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at the First Christian Church in Winamac. Visitation is at the church one hour prior to the services.
Harold H Hoffman died July 19, 2012. Priscilla Janetta Riggs Hoffman died Nov. 10, 1994 in Mesa, Ariz.
They are survived by two sons, Joe (Lynda) Hoffman of Plano, Texas, and Art (Dianne) Hoffman of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Janet Heims of Plymouth, Pearl Wheaton of Elkhart, and Mary Hoffman of Muncie.
