HAMLET — Marjorie E. Scherf, 73, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at IU Health LaPorte Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Milton; one daughter, Melissa (David) Gates of Kewanna; two sons, Paul (Denise) Scherf of Dallas, Texas and Peter (Rhonda) Scherf of Michigan City; seven grandchildren and one sister, Patricia (Duke) Harms of Illinois.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at 1 p.m. CST in Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Burial will follow at the Eagle Creek Cemetery, Knox. Visitation is Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. BREMEN — Terry A. Ingle, 63, of Bremen died at 11:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Visitation is from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bremen. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery with Military Graveside Services.

BREMEN — Helen Victoria Siklas, 80, of Bremen, died Dec. 23, 2012 at Bremen Health Care Center.
She is survived by a son, Paul (Julia) Siklas, three grandchildren; and two sisters, Pat Ray of Vancouver, Wash. and Rosemary Hall of Plymouth.
There will be no visitation. A funeral will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bremen on Jan. 13, 2013 at 1 p.m.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in care of Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

NAPPANEE — Linda Mae Miller, 84, of Nappanee, died at 4:40 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at LuAnn Nursing Home.
Surviving are brothers, Sylvanus (Mary) Miller, Homer L. (Frieda) Miller, both of Nappanee, Lester D. (Mary Esther) Miller, Middlebury; sisters, Clara (Lamar) Hershberger, Verba (Lonnie) Slabaugh, both of Nappanee; brother-in-law, Harvey M. Miller, Nappanee; and sisters-in-law, Norma Miller, Nappanee, Etta Fern (Dan) Miller-Gingerich, Bellfountain, Ohio.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the Ernie Whetstone residence (2141 Beech Road, Nappanee). Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 6 at the Jerry Kuhns residence (2641 Beech Road, Bremen). Burial will be in Weldy Cemetery. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.

Juanita Stackhouse Hoffer

NAPPANEE — Juanita Stackhouse Hoffer, 89, of Huntington, formerly of Nappanee, died at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at Norwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Huntington.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Tim) Herrli, Elkhart; sons, Timothy (Loretta) Hoffer, Indianapolis, Mark (Beth) Hoffer, Huntington; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and for one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Mt. Tabor Church of God. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Tabor Church of God.

PLYMOUTH — Charles William (Bill) Baker, 85, of Plymouth died Jan. 3, 2013 at 5:55 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
