PLYMOUTH — Joan A. Ellinger, 86, of Plymouth died Nov. 15, 2012 at 5:05 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Van Gilder Funeral Home.
Funeral is Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Van Gilder Funeral Home.
Burial will be at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Van Gilder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

E. Allen Becker
Nov. 14, 2012
CULVER — E. Allen Becker of Culver died Wednesday, Nov. 14 following a brief battle against cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Judith “Judy” Furry Becker; sons, William Allen Becker, Culver, John Furry (Susan) Becker; daughter, Marylynn Becker (Darren) DelDuco; seven grandchildren; brother, Nelson (Dixie); sister, MaryAnna (Richard) Swennumson; stepsisters, Patricia Cleveland, Margret Rothman and Linda (Dick) Flannery; and stepbrother, Loyal (Margret) Wilson. 
Visitation is Monday, Nov. 19 from 4-7 p.m. at Odom Funeral Home in Culver. Services will take place Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. at the CMA Memorial Chapel with burial immediately following at the Union Township Cemetery located on S.R. 117. 
Memorial donations may be made to the Edwin H. Becker Endowment for Culver Education Foundation (CEF), P.O. Box 441, Logansport, IN 45947 or the Lake Maxinkuckee Environmental Fund (LMEF), 116 N. Main St., Culver, IN 46511.

KNOX — Mary F. Wilson, 77, of Knox died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Wilson; children, Mary Evelyn (Phillip) DePoy of Culver, Carol S. Weber of Redlands, Calif.; brothers and sisters, John Rock of Carpentersville, Ill., Hazel Harris of Bartlett, Ill., Peggy Campbell of Zephyr Hills, Fla., Herman “Gene” Rock of Mountainview, Ark., Barbara McIntosh of Cadiz, Ky.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral is Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at 12 p.m. CST at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial took place at Crown Hill Cemetery.

NAPPANEE — Owen Miller, 71, of Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, formerly of Nappanee, died at 9:40 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 15 at Goshen IU Health after a brief illness.
Surviving are sisters, Edna E. and Nina E. Miller both of Nappanee.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and for one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday at North Main Street Mennonite Church. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to North Main Street Mennonite Church.

WINAMAC — Carole A. Shorter, 73, of Winamac died Nov. 15, 2012 at 5:30 a.m. at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
She is survived by daughter, Rosemarie A. Burroughs, Richmond; sons, Douglas E. (Sharon) Shorter, Winamac, Kevin M. (Melissa) Shorter, North Manchester; seven grandchildren; mother, Geneva Cords Smith, Valparaiso; brothers, Charles Joseph (Carolyn) Smith, Port St. Lucie, Fla., David Smith, Valparaiso; and sister, Mary Helen (Brian) Kauffman, Wanatah.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Winamac, Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Winamac.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Diabetes Association, Leukemia Association.
