PALM BAY, Fla. — David Klingerman, 66, passed away Jan. 7, 2012 in Palm Bay, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his son, Jim; and his daughter, Kim.
He was a graduate of Etna Green High School (1963). After high school he joined the Air Force and served for four years. He then went to college in Minnesota where he earned a degree in recreation. He then worked for the city of Bloomington, Minn. for 20 plus years as the recreational director.
David took an early retirement from the city because of health issues and moved to Florida.
He is also survived by his sister, Kay Feldman of Bourbon; and a brother, Terry Klingerman of Portland, Ore.
A memorial service is being planned.
