David Fussey

FORT WAYNE — David Fussey, 77, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at home.
He was born in the small village of Harding Stone on the outskirts of Northampton, England, and was formerly of Cinnaminson, N.J. and Southern California. He was an aerospace engineer by profession. He liked woodworking and his garden.
He was a chorister of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic for many years. He was also a veteran of the Royal Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Fussey; two sons, Paul (Louisa) Fussey of West Chester, Pa. and Mark (Sarah) Fussey of Plymouth; five grandchildren: Scott, Adam, Kasia, Zachary, and Samuel; stepchildren: Ann, Amy and Peter, all of Muncie; six stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Zilpah (Welch) and wife Audrey Fussey.
Services are at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Advantage Funeral Home, 2403 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Association.
