PLYMOUTH — Darleen E. Xaver, 69, of East La Porte Street, Plymouth, Ind., passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 12:35 p.m. at her home. 
She was born July 15, 1941, in Plymouth, to Albin “Bud” and Edythe (Smith) Wilson. Darleen graduated from West High School and was a former officer of the West High School Alumni. She was married to John Xaver from 1961 to1978.
Darleen worked at the Pilot News, the Tasty Freeze, the Penny Saver, and Aflac Insurance. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, where she served on the church board and was very active on many other committees. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #1355, and was proud that she was a Phi Delta Kappa, “Sweetheart.”
Darleen is survived by her daughters, Debra Xaver of Frisco, Texas and Vicki (Chad) Hatfield of North Carolina; her son, Jeffery (Andrea) Xaver of Traverse City, Mich.; her grandchildren: Jeffery, Jessica, Addison, Kane, Hudson, Bailey and Brady; her mother, Edythe Wilson of Plymouth; and her brother, Richard (Melinda) Wilson of Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her father, “Bud” Wilson, and John Xaver.
