Culver wins second conference game against Jimtown

December 18, 2010

CULVER — If Jimtown is a brick wall, then Culver’s Zoe Bauer was the bulldozer that broke through it.
The Cavaliers, led by Bauer, came from behind in the last minutes of the game to increase their Northern State Conference wins to two, with a W over the Jimmies, 41-33.
Jimtown came to Culver knowing they had to shut down the Cavs’ four-year varsity player. And for the first three quarters, they did just that.
“I think we did a great job on Bauer,” Jimtown head coach Randy DeShone said, “until the third quarter. He’s been around a while, and a kid like that is going to beat you.”
