Culver man arrested in $1.39 million drug bust

May 22, 2012

CULVER – A Culver man was taken to the Fulton County jail after a Monday morning drug bust of nearly $1.4 million in marijuana.

55-year-old Kevin Back was charged with dealing, possessing, and growing marijuana, and maintaining a common nuisance, after what Fulton County police describe as a three-month investigation.

Back was allegedly growing 1,139 marijuana plants at a home on North State Road 17 in Culver. Officers, bearing a search warrant, found the plants as well as indoor growing equipment at the residence during an 8:15 a.m. raid.
