Concord a crucial measuring stick for adjusting Rockies

September 29, 2010

PLYMOUTH — This week is a crucial week in Plymouth football.
“Hopefully we’ve learned that anybody can beat us,” said Plymouth Head Coach John Barron. “If you don’t make plays when you’re given opportunities you’re going to get beat.”
Wawasee made big plays when given the opportunity and put an end to a two-year regular season winning streak by the Rockies. The loss is a tough one, but the Rockies still control their own destiny in NLC play and have learned a few things in the process.
The first thing they’ve learned is that sophomore quarterback Ike Kastner and running back Sam Stevens are going to be getting their snaps on Friday night from now on and not on Saturday morning.
