NORTH JUDSON — Bob and Regina Howard of North Judson shared the true meaning of Thanksgiving by opening the doors at Grand Central Station to embrace the tradition they started seven years ago. This year, they prepared 20 turkeys. The Howards said those who donated baked goods, and their time certainly helped in making this a Thanksgiving that many in the community will not forget. Already, many have said they are looking forward to next year.
The youngsters who attended this community Thanksgiving feast were excited when they spotted the dessert table with all the goodies. The table decorations were so festive and a compliment the season. A special surprise was held later in the afternoon with a special birthday celebration for the Howard's son RJ who was celebrating his 40th birthday. Everyone joined in the celebration. This was the biggest turnout, hundreds were served.
