DUNEDIN, Fla. — Clifford Duane Schlabach, 61, of Dunedin, Fla., passed away April 19, 2011, in the presence of his loving family following a courageous five year battle with cancer. 
He was an avid photographer and his beautiful photography, good humor and free spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Cliff was born to Albert and Kathleen Schlabach Oct. 10, 1949, in Kendallville, Ind. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in St. Petersburg, Fla. 
He spent his formative years in Columbia City and Culver, Ind., before moving to Albuquerque, N.M.. He was a resident of Dunedin for 19 years. 
Cliff served his country honorably during the Vietnam War in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971.
Also surviving are his wife, Kristine; son, Casey James Schlabach; daughter, Sabrina Lynn Schlabach, all of Dunedin; brothers, Daryl (Dona) Schlabach of Largo, Fla.; James (Sharon Donnelly) Schlabach, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sisters, Carolyn (Dennis) Pollock, of Winter Haven, Fla.; Gerry (Randy) Burkett of Culver; Cathy (Bill) Keller of Monterey, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews. 
There will be no visitation or services. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cliff’s name to the Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL, 33823.
The family is grateful to the Good Shepherd Hospice for their kindness during his illness.
