KOONTZ LAKE — Claude F. Ogle Jr., 67, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at IU Health LaPorte Hospital. Mr. Ogle was born Oct. 20, 1945 in South Bend to Claude F. and Marion (Collie) Ogle and lived in the area all of his life. Oct. 25, 1969 in North Liberty, he was married to the former Janyce Hughes. Survivors include: his wife, Janyce; two daughters, Natalie and Rhonda Ogle of Koontz Lake; one son, Claude James Ogle (CJ) of Bourbon; three grandchildren; four sisters, Valarie Seese, Jane Shoemaker, Diana Gray and Polly Nolevanko and one brother, Sam Ogle. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Ogle was a retired crane operator with Whiting Corp., Harvey, Ill.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at 4 p.m. CST at the Koontz Lake Clubhouse with Pastor Brian Baughman officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the Koontz Lake Clubhouse Sunday, Dec. 9 from 2 to 5 p.m. CST. Memorial contributions may be given to Rannells Funeral Home.
