City of Plymouth grants tax abatement

June 24, 2014

PLYMOUTH — Founded in 1986, Pregis is expanding their 360,000 sq. ft. complex through the lease of a 62,000 sq. ft. building, as reported in May by the Economic Development Corp. The newly leased building will allow the company to relocate a portion of their operations while providing additional space for $2.3 million in new manufacturing equipment. Pregis representatives estimate that 10 additional employees with an average wage of $17 per hour will be hired as a result of the expansion.
The decision was made during the Plymouth Common Council meeting Monday evening. Full story about the abatement and meeting in today's Pilot News.
