City looks at maintaining improvements at skate park
KNOX — Mayor Rick Chambers and Kris McLaughlin will head a new committee to start looking at grants, and other options for funding and fundraising activities to pay for future improvements to the Knox skate park.
The bike park was built five years ago, and the wood construction only has a 5 to 8 year lifespan.
Anyone interested in serving on the committee should contact the Mayor or McLaughlin.
A professional bike event is scheduled Saturday at the Knox skate park, with up to 200 visitors expected.
