PLYMOUTH — Charles “Mikey” High, age 58, of Michigan Road, Plymouth, passed away at 5 p.m., Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Michigan City. 
He was born Sept. 7, 1952, in LaPorte, to Charles and Barbara (Calhoun) High. Charles and Carolyn Maxson were married Sept. 5, 1999, in Plymouth.
He worked as a finish carpenter at Majority Builders.and had been a resident of Marshall County since 1970. 
Michael is survived by his wife, Carolyn Maxson; his sons: Andrew High of Plymouth, David (Esmeralea) Carroll of Plymouth, Daniel Carroll of Plymouth, and Gail (Rob) Busam of Plymouth; his daughter, Sandra Busam and her companion Kristi Stockberger of Rochester, Ind.; his sisters: Terri (John) Flanagan of Plymouth, Elizabeth (Aaron) Bouts of Eaton Rapids, Mich., and Ramona (Tim) Mehall of Granger, Ind.; his brothers, Ray Frazier of Mishawaka, Ind. and Kriss High of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren; and his beloved cat Humphrey, who followed him wherever he went.
