PLYMOUTH — Brenda Rose Klemens, age 64, of Plymouth went to her eternal home to worship her Heavenly Father forever, on Thursday, June 27, 2013. She passed away at the Elkhart Campus Center for Hospice Care.
Brenda was born May 18, 1949, in Portland, to Curtis and Patricia (Bye) Peacock. She was a graduate of Cedar Springs High School and obtained her BSU, in Nursing, from Marion College. She worked for over 35 years as a registered nurse and a hospice nurse. She was blessed to make short missionary trips to Haiti (twice) and Mexico (twice). Brenda served on the ministry team, as a minister, at Christ for the Nations in Martinsville, Christian Seminars and Day Star Ministries. Brenda said, “Life was an adventure”.
Brenda is survived by her son, Christopher Klemens of Plymouth; her father, Curtis Peacock of Plymouth; her five sisters, Sheryl (Carl) Gorden of Lansing, Mich., Rebecca (Sam) Maddox of Three Rivers, Mich., Patricia Ganshorn of Plymouth, Barbara (Patrick) Franklin of Vienna, Va., and Pamela (Ernie) Parker of Delong; her three brothers, Steven (Carol) Peacock of Grand Ledge, Mich., David (Jamie) Peacock of Plymouth, and James (Lanette) Peacock of Elkhart. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Peacock in 2005 and her brother, Daniel Peacock.
