Bremen man found dead in hotel room

September 25, 2012

BREMEN — Marshall County Coroner William Cleavenger released the name of the 43-year-old man found dead in a room at the Bremen Inn in Bremen at approximately 9:45 p.m. Wednesday evening Sept. 12.
David S. Miller, 43, of Mishawaka was found dead in his room Wednesday night after another guest had gone to Miller’s room to talk with him. An autopsy was conducted Thursday in Mishawaka by Dr. Joseph Prahlow, a board certified Forensic Pathologist, who could find no evidence of foul play. Toxicology and tissue samples were obtained and the results could be some weeks away as to what exactly caused Miller’s death.
The investigation will be ongoing and conducted by the coroner and the Bremen Police Department. The coroner strongly believes drugs and alcohol were contributing factors.
