BREMEN — The Bremen Conservation Club will host a breakfast buffet and raffle at the VFW/American Legion Feb. 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The breakfast is in lieu of the annual ice fishing derby that was cancelled due to unsafe ice conditions. All usual breakfast items will be served and all ice derby items will be raffled. An adult raffle will include $250, $150 and $100 in cash, ice fishing rod and reel combos, miscellaneous other fishing articles, tools, oil changes, car washes, and local merchant gift cards. A separate youth raffle will feature a fishing hut from travel tenders of Goshen, a $100 gift card from the working person’s store, and a $50 Walmart gift card.
Price for a breakfast is $7 for adults and $3 for youth 14 and younger. To take part in the raffle and breakfast the price is $10 for adults and $6 for youth.
Items will be raffled at 10:30 a.m. Winners need not be present. A separate raffle for a guided musky fishing trip for two with Webster Lake Guide Service will also be offered. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5, for a chance to win what can be a great learning experience and provide the opportunity to catch the fish of a lifetime for some lucky fisherman.
