Bremen’s outdoor pool open swim begins June 3

Open swim will begin Friday, June 3 from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Daily admission for all swimmers is $2 per day. Family passes which consist of mother, father, sons and daughters are $85 and an individual pass is $40. Water aerobic classes are offered Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. (weather permitting). The cost is $2 per day. The pool can also be rented for parties. The price to rent the pool is $50 per hour.
Swimming lessons are held: June 20 through July 1 for session one; July 25 through Aug. 5.
The price for each session, consisting of 10, 30-minute lessons will be $30. All lessons must be paid for at the time of sign up. Parent-tot classes are during the second session which is July 11 to July 15 and July 18 to July 22. Parents must pre-sign up for this class. The cost is $30 for a one-week session. This class is for infants and toddlers 9 months to 3 years old.
Innertube Water Polo sign ups:
The Bremen Outdoor Pool is hosting innertube water polo for the fourth year. The rules for water polo still apply, however, participants must be on top of inner tubes while throwing the ball from player to player and scoring. Each team needs a minimum of eight players. There must be two females or more on each team. Also, players must be 15 years or older. Those that do not have a team but want to play, can still sign up. The sport will be played Tuesday and Thursday nights from 8 to 9 p.m. in July.
The cost for the summer is $12 per person. To sign up there must be a list of a minimum of eight players on the team, everyone’s addresses, and everyone’s money. Go to the pool during regular hours to sign up. Deadline to sign up is June 25 or as soon as the team slots have been filled.
