Dolly takes aim at Texas as Cat. 1 hurricane E-mail

Forecasters say Dolly has become a hurricane and is heading toward southern Texas and northeastern Mexico. Dolly's strength was upgraded Tuesday afternoon. Forecasters say it will likely get stronger before Wednesday's predicted landfall. (July 22)

Is time on side of US/India deal? E-mail

Indian Parliament gives go-ahead on US/India nuclear deal; now the question is whether there is enough time for the US Congress to act. The deal still needs clearances from the International Atomic Energy Agency and the 45-nation Nuclear Suppliers Group. Then the deal would have to go to the U.S. Congress for final approval.

Desert monsoon wreaks havoc in Arizona town E-mail
