DONALDSON — Elizabeth Katherine “Betty K. Scheetz”, 94, was reunited with her family on Easter morning, Sunday, March 31, 2013, at 5:20 a.m. in the Catherine Kasper Life Center in Donaldson. A longtime Plymouth resident, she had resided at the Catherine Kasper Life Center for the last four years.
The daughter of Lawrence B. and Katherine M. (Ahler) Scheetz, Betty was born July 16, 1918 in Monticello. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1937.
Betty had worked as a receptionist/bookkeeper at Ancilla Domini for many years, retiring in 1990. She was a loyal member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
She enjoyed her family and was the family archivist.
The last of her family, Betty is survived by several cousins.
Visitation will be held in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Thursday in the Catherine Kasper Chapel, 9601 Union Road, Donaldson. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:15 a.m. in the Chapel with Fr. John Zemelko officiating.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, beside her parents.
