WARREN, Ohio — B. Lucille Woolley of Windsor House of Champion, Ohio, formerly of Eldon Drive, died at 9:27 p.m. at her residence, Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010.
She was born, Feb. 13, 1922, in Donaldson, Ind., to the late Theron E. and Clara M. Hovis Jones. She was married to Lewis E. Woolley of Plymouth, Ind. Nov. 14, 1955.
Preceding her in death besides her parents are her husband who died Nov. 19, 1970 are one sister, Thelma R. Baxter; and one brother, Robert L. "Bob" Jones. Also surviving her is a sister-in-law, Helen L. Jones; two brothers, Charles E. (Joyce) Jones of Plymouth, and Ralph O. Jones of Donaldson; also several nieces and nephews.
She graduated from grade school in Donaldson in 1935, and from West Township High School in 1939. She worked in a glove factory in Plymouth, Ind. for 15 years. She moved to Ohio in 1955; her husband was employed at the Warren Tribune Chronicle. After her husband's death she worked at Grant's, then Stambaugh's Home Improvement Center, retiring after working there 18 years. She was a member of the Champion Presbyterian Church, also the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave., Warren, with services to be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 1, at the Champion Presbyterian Church, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be at the Oakhill Cemetery Chapel in Plymouth, at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, and arrangements locally will be handled by the Van Gilder Funeral Home. Contributions are requested to be made to Champion Presbyterian Church, 4997 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, Ohio, 44483.
