Argos’ Patterson is third team All-State

November 28, 2012

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA) announced the Soccer All-State team for 2012. Argos senior striker Jami Patterson was named Third Team All-State and was the lone selection from Marshall County this year.
Patterson scored 22 goals to lead Argos to the semisate round of the state tournament for the second year in a row. She finished with 59 career goals — fourth on the Lady Dragons’ all-time scoring list behind Kelsie Hollabaugh (101), Alyssa Bailey (79), and Angie Dunlap (67). Patterson was also 12th and fifth in career assists and points, respectively.
A four-year letter winner and captain for the 2012 Dragons, Patterson won four major team awards and was named All-Northern Indiana Soccer Conference three times. She is the daughter of Ray Patterson and Patti Patterson-Layer.
