KNOX — Josh Anderson’s running style resembles something like the merger of a cheetah and bulldozer.
And with John Glenn’s football team looking a little lethargic Friday at Knox, it needed every bit of Anderson’s speed-power combination.
The junior running back scored four touchdowns — one during each frame — rushed for a game-leading 237 yards on 25 carries, and caught a two-point conversion pass for good measure to apply a little shine on an otherwise subdued 29-0 Northern State Conference win at Community Field.
“(Anderson) is the real deal,” Knox head coach Terry Chestovich said. “The bad thing is he’ll be back next year. If you take him away it’s a completely different ball game, but they give him the ball a lot; you have to ride the horse you’ve got.”
