Ancilla’s Reese re-elected as MCCAA Western Conference Director

PLYMOUTH — Ancilla College Athletic Director Gene Reese has been re-elected to a second two-year term as the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Western Conference Director, the college announced on Thursday.
The election took place at the MCCAA Athletic Director’s Summer Meeting at Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire, Mich.
“Being from the only (MCCAA-affiliated) college in Indiana, it is a tremendous privilege being asked to serve on these most important conference committees,” said Reese, who has overseen the Ancilla College athletic department since its inception.
As part of his duties as conference director, Reese will sit on the Executive Committee. He has also been asked to serve on the Finance and Athletic Director of the Year committees.
In addition to the elections, the Ancilla College athletic department was honored by the MCCAA for completing its 10th year as a member of the conference.
