PLYMOUTH — Alma Marybell Dennie, 98, of Plymouth passed away Jan. 26, 2013 at 1:15 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor of Plymouth. She had been in declining health for the past year.
She was born Sept. 14, 1914 in Elwood to Day and Martha (Mophet) Yarling. Alma had lived in the Argos community all of her life.
On Aug. 12, 1933 in Argos, she married Chancey J. Dennie; he preceded her Dec. 20, 1995.
She was a farmer’s wife/homemaker. She was a member of the Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos; Green-Walnut Home Extensions Club and the Marshall County Farm Bureau, Marshall County.
She is survived by sons – Allen Dennie of Ft. McCoy, Fla.; Phillip Dennie and wife Jean Ann of Bourbon; Andrew Dennie and wife Arlene of Bourbon; C. Joe Dennie and wife Nancy of Argos; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother – Tim Yarling.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Walnut Church of the Brethren, 19056 Gumwood Road, Argos. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan., 30, 2013 at the church officiated by Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren. Burial will be at Walnut Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Argos.
Memorial contributions may be made to Walnut Church of the Brethren, 19056 Gumwood Road, Argos, IN 46501.
