PLYMOUTH — Alejandro Pena, 84, of 1015 W. Jackson St., Plymouth, passed away at 5 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at his home. 
Alejandro was born April 7, 1926, in Mission, Texas, to Porfinio and Maria (Navarro) Pena. Alejandro had been a resident of Plymouth, since 1966, coming from Argos.
He retired from Agway Seed Company. He was a member of the American Legion of Plymouth and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, during WWII.
Alejandro is survived by his lifetime mate, Dora Gonzalez Pena; their 11 children: Nina Swinehart of Bourbon, Alejandro (Trina) Pena, Jr. of Nappanee, Silvia (Steve) Towne of Plymouth, Serge (Sherry) Pena of Plymouth, Julie Pena of Kokomo, Cris Maxson of Bourbon, Mary (John) Ross of Plymouth, Jane (Bob) Dille of Argos, Jessie (Mark) Mayfield of Fort Worth, Texas, Suzy (Clinton) Sanders of Monterey, and Lisa (Mark Albright) Pena of Plymouth; 29 grandchildren: Ashley Yates, Angie (Bert) Workman, Jeremy Yates, Joe Towne, Melissa (Bill) Markovich, Bryan Towne, Phillip Towne, Brandy (Mike) Yoder, Amanda (Robert) Yoder, Crystal (Dan) Winkle, Samantha Maxson, Angie Ross, Adrian (John) Reed, Tony (Brandis) Ross, Alisha (Brad) Ross, Andy Ross, Allison (Tony) Ross, Imelda Arriaga, Adriena (Todd Keen) Jimenez , Michael Jimenez, Jose (Teresa) Jimenez, Sgt. Gabriela Jimenez, Pierce Mayfield, Anthony Mayfield, Isaiah Mayfield, Cliff Sanders, Jony Sanders, Whitney Sanders, and Jordan Sanders; and 25 great-grandchildren: Kylie, Kylan, Blake, Cannon, Lennix, Keri, Kam, Isabella, Evelyn, Giovanni, Myla, Ezra, Ivan, Emma, Kyra, Kaylen, Josiah, Olive, Amani, Todd, Jr., Coty, Elliana, Gabe, Alex, Mariah, Nicholas, and Sidney.
He was preceded in death by his son, Frank Ybarra; and his grandsons, Dan Swinehart and Airon Ross.
