GROVERTOWN — Albert N. Haug Sr., 91, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver. Mr. Haug was born March 8, 1921 in Gary to Hanas and Maren (Christensen) Haug and lived in the Grovertown area most of his life. 
Feb. 14, 1944 in South Bend, he was married to Elizabeth Ann Palmer, who preceded him in death in 2005. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Diane Washburn, three brothers and six sisters. Surviving are: two daughters, Anne (Charles) Marquis of Florida and Kathy (Conrad) Kriskovsky of Knox; four sons, Charles (Kathy) Haug of Koontz Lake, Ron (Julie) Haug of Knox, Larry (Carol) Haug of Hamlet and Albert Haug Jr. of Knox; one sister, Joan (James) Nafe of Granger; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Haug was a farmer.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. CDT in Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel with Pastors Jerry Patrick and Aaron Haug officiating. Burial will be in the Grovertown Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. To leave online condolences, go to rannellsfuneralhome.com.
