LAFAYETTE — Aaron D. Miller, 32, of Lafayette, died at 11:17 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth East.
Born March 14, 1979 in Plymouth, he was the son of Robert Douglass Miller and Pamela Hartz Miller. He was a 1997 graduate of Culver Community High School and a 2001 graduate from the School of Technology at Purdue University.
He married Amanda Hart July 4, 2009 in Dayton at the Dayton United Methodist Church and she survives.
He was an information technology network administrator at the MED Institute in West Lafayette working for 10 years with the Cook Company.
Aaron was a member of Delphi United Methodist Church and attended Riverside Covenant Church in West Lafayette where he was a member of the mens’ Bible Study and was also a sound operator. He was also a member of the Purdue Symphonic Band. Aaron was an avid sportsman and loved hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and biking. He also enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, gardening, had a passion for listening to and performing music, debating, politics, traveling and had visited all but three states. Aaron loved going to church, family, friends, cooking, restoring cars, and photography.
Surviving with his parents and wife is a daughter: Lauren Avery Miller, sister: Cindy Miller of Culver, mother- and father-in-law: Glen and Nancy Hart and brother-in-law: Jon Hart of rural Frankfort, sister-in-law: Chrissy Drook (husband: Erik) of Lafayette and paternal grandfather: Robert Miller of Culver. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Alvin and Vona Belle Hartz and paternal grandmother Charmaine Miller.
A memorial visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hippensteel Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Teefey officiating.
