Plymouth beats Riley
Plymouth moved over .500 as it handed visiting South Bend Riley a 25-15, 25-13, 25-10 defeat at home at The Rock Wednesday.
Freshman setter Haley Harrell was a perfect 60-for-60 in setting with 20 assists while serving up two aces with one block in the win. Marissa German was 16-for-16 in attacking with eight kills, followed by Amber Redinger’s six, while Mikayla German and Andria Shook recorded seven and six digs, respectively. Mikayla German also served up three aces, while Redinger served another two aces with a block as well.
The Lady Pilgrims improve 5-4 on the year.

Stump leads NorthWood over LaVille
Hanna Stump put away 16 kills with four digs on defense to lead NorthWood to a 25-16, 25-11, 25-7 victory at LaVille Tuesday.
Devyn Simpson recorded eight kills with two blocks, and Jana Yoder had six kills with two blocks, while Allie Mattingly set 33 assists for the Lady Panthers, who improved to 5-3 with the win.

Lions down Falcons
Bremen moved to 3-0 in the Northern State Conference with a 5-0 win over host John Glenn Wednesday.
The veteran Lions surrendered just two games combined on all three singles courts and another two at 2 doubles. In the most competitive match of the night, Austin Huff and T.J. Bayer beat Ben Weiss and Evan Rhodes 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 1 doubles position.
Bremen improves to 5-3 overall with the NSC win, while Glenn continues to look for its first win at 0-3 overall and 0-1 with the conference-opening loss.

Redskins defeat Vikings
The Redskins survived a pair of close first sets at the doubles positions, and Knox beat Tippecanoe Valley 4-1 on the road Wednesday.
Harrison Metz and Elliott Coad went 12 games with Tippy Valley’s Robby Groom and Clayton Adamson in the first set before clinching a 7-5, 6-1 win, while Joe Clabough and Cody Fletcher beat Derek Cunningham and Isaac Shewman 6-4 in the first set before putting them away 6-0 in the second set. Curtis Sherer won 6-3, 6-1 at 3 singles, meanwhile, at the competitive meet.

Girls golf
Lady Pilgrims survive
Plymouth beat Northridge by a single stroke 199-200 in a dual Northern Lakes Conference girls golf meet at home at Swan Lake Tuesday. The Lady Pilgrims stayed perfect in the NLC at 5-0 while improving to 7-1 overall in dual meets.
Emily Berger and Lauren Rearick led Plymouth at 45 and 46, respectively, while Mandy McPherron shot a 51, and Kelly Henderson turned in a 57 for the Pilgrims.
Plymouth will finish up its NLC dual meet schedule tonight as it hits the road for a three-way match with Warsaw and Wawasee.
