4 named to IFCA Region 2 All-Star team

January 18, 2013

Four area players — two from Bremen and one each from Plymouth and Culver Community — were named to the Indiana Football Coaches Association’s Region 2 All-Star Team Wednesday night.
Bremen’s Ethan Pike and Bobby Cornett were named at wide receiver and free safety, respectively, while Plymouth running back Sam Stevens was given an at-large nomination, and Culver Community’s Matt Hurford was named on the defensive line.
The quartet of area players were joined by 24 other players — 14 offensive and 14 defensive — as members of the All-Star squad for Region 2, which includes 29 schools.
