Heidi has earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. Heidi is the two-time NLC Girls Golf Tournament Champion (2011, 2012) as well as the 2012 Goshen Invitational Champion. Heidi has 21 top 10 tournament finishes in three years.

Goodbye, ‘Doc’: Former Indiana governor laid to rest in Bremen

BREMEN — For a day the eyes of Indiana were on Bremen as it laid to rest one of its own.
The funeral for former Ind. Gov. Dr. Otis R. “Doc” Bowen drew the politically elite from both parties while hundreds – if not thousands – lined Center Street from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church to Bremen Municipal Cemetery for the procession route.

Couple celebrates 80th anniversary

WARSAW — Kenneth, 101, and Bonnie, 95, Gragg, 16 Henderson Drive, Warsaw, will celebrate their 80th wedding anniversary May 20.
Kenneth and the former Bonnie Smith were married May 20, 1933 at her parents’ residence in Etna Green by the Rev. Raymond Coon.
After the ceremony they celebrated with a dinner with the family.
The couple met in Etna Green, moved to Mentone and Kenneth worked for Manwarings.
Moving to Warsaw Kenneth farmed and worked for Sharps Hardware until they moved to Bremen.
