A competition has been begun between the elementary and middle school classrooms to see who can collect the most.

“The students really want to use them,” said Angela Balsley, Special Services Director. “They are new, novel, fun. Students are very motivated and interested in it.”
The students aren’t the only ones excited about the new technology.

Wastewater, town focused on leaks

February 2, 2012

BREMEN — White Star Cruise Line Vice President P.A.S. Franklin claimed he believed the vessel Titanic to be unsinkable and reportedly — he said that as the ship sat on the bottom of the ocean. When Town of Bremen representatives were told in 2010 that the bio (biological oxidation) towers included in its $2.86 million wastewater facility repair, replacement and refurbishment plan were said to be watertight, they believed it — and like the tragic cruise ship’s representatives — continued to believe … until the leaking began.

Bremen High School 2011 graduate and full time Ball State student Lerin Studt will do just that and is preparing herself for a July 6 trip to South Africa.
