Bremen Enquirer is looking for German Township couples that have been married for more than 20 years that have also worked for the same business for at least as long, for a Valentine’s Day feature. Volunteers need only give about 20 minutes of their time and a photo of the couple will be needed.

Stark in the park

January 27, 2012

The local playground appears stark and forlorn last Friday as the untouched ground merely remembers the shouts of playful children. The overcast skies brought winds of 10 to 15 miles per hour and with it a chill that plummeted temperatures to 2 degrees at lunchtime. Forecasts at the time expected even more snow.

January 27, 2012

Winners of the 2012 Monopoly Tournament hosted by the Bremen Public Library not only passed “GO” but collected prizes for their fun and games. Joint site to offer more convenience

January 27, 2012

Wagner takes legal helm for Town of Bremen

January 27, 2012

BREMEN — Attorney Anthony Wagner was recently selected by the Town of Bremen to take the helm from Marshall County Prosecuting Attorney David Holmes who had represented the town for decades.
Though filling those shoes may seem a daunting task, Wagner is no stranger to having big shoes to fill — his father Mark has been an attorney in the area for years and partner with Wyland, Humphrey, Wagner and Clevenger LLC. The younger Wagner Esquire holds his own as an associate of the same firm; he has plenty of experience; and proves he is up to the challenge.

Though she wasn’t due until Jan. 3, the Bremen native (and the baby’s father Jerald Standifer) brought Braxtyn Josiah Standifer — weighing in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces and at 19-and-a-half inches long — into the world Dec. 26 of 2011. He was welcomed home by big sister, Shyan Standifer, 1.
