CULVER — Culver Community’s boys basketball team attempted quality shots almost from the opening tip Tuesday.
Once the second quarter rolled around those shots really started falling.

Culver advances to a Friday semifinal bout against six-time defending sectional champion Triton at 6:30 p.m. Argos and South Central follow at 8 p.m.

Lady Pilgrims finish strong at home

PLYMOUTH — The Lady Pilgrims saved their best for last. Their last home meet, that is.

No. 3-ranked Logan won the three-way with a 105.5 score, while Plymouth placed just 2.25 back and Peru rounded out the meet with a 34.4 score.
“We’re on our way to sectionals. We’re at the peak,” said PHS head coach Jana Lyon.
